Today, a large percentage of customers will Google a new business before deciding whether to shop there. This means that it’s extremely important to have a complete Google My Business profile, including positive reviews.

Potential customers are strongly influenced by reviews. The first step you need to take, if you haven’t already, is to update your business info on Google, including your address, phone number, website, hours, and pictures.


Then, you need to request reviews from satisfied customers in order to positively flesh out your Google profile.

The easiest way to do this is to create a direct link to the review form. A couple of websites, such as Supple and, offer simple link generators.

Once you’ve made your custom link, you can share it with customers on your website, on your social media page, and through email receipts to make it easy for them to leave a review.
