Since Facebook released their set of Reactions, it’s become clear that the website’s algorithm values them slightly above a normal Like button. The Love, Wow, and Haha buttons, in particular, can give your posts a rankings boost. Temporary Reactions, such as the flower for Mother’s Day or pride button for Pride month, are also really good for engagement.

You can take advantage of this by creating Facebook content that’s geared towards those positive Reactions. Try posting a joke or funny story, for instance, to get some Haha reactions from your followers.

Another option is to creates polls in your Facebook posts, asking your followers to vote by clicking a particular Reaction button. This can be an easy way to drive up engagement and generate great interaction with your fans.

And don’t forget to use the Reaction buttons in response to other people’s content you like! Some of that “Love” might come back around to you.
